This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) is entered into between Best Review 99 (“Data Fiduciary”, “we”, “us”, “our”), founded and operated by Changthak Debbarma, and all registered vendors, sellers, service providers, and partners (“Data Processor”, “you”, “your”) who access, process, or handle personal data of customers through our platform.
This DPA ensures compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) 2023 of India and establishes the legal obligations, security standards, and data protection measures that all processors must adhere to when handling personal data on behalf of Best Review 99.

Prohibited Data: Vendors must NOT collect, store, or process: Aadhaar numbers (except masked), biometric data, health records, financial passwords, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for order fulfillment.
We engage the following sub-processors for operational needs. All sub-processors are contractually bound to comply with this DPA and DPDP Act 2023:
Vendor Obligation: Vendors who engage their own sub-processors (e.g., packaging partners, local couriers) must inform Best Review 99 in writing and ensure those sub-processors comply with this DPA.
Penalty for Violation: Unauthorized use, retention, or sharing of customer data will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of pending payouts, and potential legal action under DPDP Act 2023.

Breach Response: In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) within 72 hours as required by DPDP Act 2023.
Anonymization: Where possible, retained data is anonymized to prevent identification of individuals. Access to retained data is restricted to authorized compliance personnel only.
As a Data Principal under Indian law, customers have the following rights. Vendors must respect and facilitate these rights:
Vendor Duty: If a customer contacts you directly for data access or deletion, you must forward the request to Best Review 99 within 24 hours. Do not act on such requests independently.
72-Hour Rule: Best Review 99 will notify affected Data Principals and CERT-In within 72 hours of breach confirmation, as mandated by DPDP Act 2023.
Exception: Data that vendors are legally required to retain for tax or regulatory purposes may be kept in anonymized form, with prior written approval from Best Review 99.
